Retail Sales Assistant - Fast Hire

We are a family-owned business that has been operating its retail store in Cowra for 12 years. We are currently looking for a full-time employee 38+ hours a week including Saturdays to join our team as soon as possible.

Role Responsibilities:
• Provide over the counter and telephone sales, support and service to clients.
• Identify and assess customer needs and go above and beyond to satisfy those needs.
• Build relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.
• Keep up to date with marketing, product and other activities to ensure that you can educate customers on legislative requirements and how our products work.
• Assist other staff and management in everyday duties including but not limited to stocking shelves, cleaning duties, unpacking and processing of stock, advertising, website update, email correspondence and general housekeeping duties as required.

Key Selection Criteria:
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must hold a current NSW Firearms Licence (minimum A&B)
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong ability to build customer relationships.
• Ability to effectively resolve customer issues.
• Neat and legible handwriting and spelling skills necessary for completion of legal documents.
• Experience with computers including website, email, Microsoft and POS.
• Good knowledge and experience with firearms or the sport of shooting preferred but not essential.
