Job Description

The Retail Sales (Inventory Champion) will work to instill store routines and assist to build a store culture that will increase the focus on stock management and ultimately improve the accuracy of the stores inventory. The Inventory Champion plays a critical role in helping the store achieve an acceptable shrinkage result and therefore will have a significant impact on store profitability.

With the support of both the Inventory Manager and the Store Management team, the Inventory Champion should ensure that the stock management reports and routines are reviewed and actioned in-line with the Store Management Daily/Weekly/Monthly checklist.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate price updates, updating store signage as needed
• Complete stock adjustments to ensure accurate records
• Retrieve and close all suspended transactions
• Review and follow up on outstanding orders and stock transfers
• Gap management scans
• Price integrity checks
• Review outstanding cash account balances
• Stocktakes 
• Additional Inventory and stock management processes as required
• Customer service and retail assistance as needed

Ideally you will have

• Previous experience in stock management processes at a store level (ideal but not required)
   
• Previous experience in customer service
• Self-motivated with a strong team focus. 
• Excellent Customer Service
