Job Description

We are looking for an experience and knowledgable plumbing specialist to join our Nambour store, specialising in supporting our customers build the bathroom or kitchen of their dreams. The role:

• Processing of customer sales
• Merchandising
• Maintain store standards
• Customer Service proactively approach customers in store and engaging with customers, providing expert advice on products
• Oversee and champion the plumbing department, proactively identifying and implementing solutions to boost sales
• Assist customers with Plumbing appliances and finishings
• Attend supplier training to grow your knowledge of all hardware products, specialising in plumbing
• Assist customers in designing their dream kitchen, using Mitre 10's digital design platform
• Submit orders in line with customer specifications, working with internal Sales Account Managers to deliver impeccable service
• Your role will be varied as further responsibilities are introduced

Ideally you will have/be: 

• Prior hardware or kitchen fit out knowledge/experience, desired but not essential as full training provided
• Ability to handle heavy lifting up to 15kg
• Sound Computer use and the ability to learn new systems
• Excellent customer service skills
• Loads of energy, proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Team player who will help the team achieve sales targets
