Retail Sales Professional - Rewarding Work

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a casual professional dynamic salesperson to join our team. You will be working at the Cannon Hill store.

Our stores carry Electrical appliances, furniture and bedding and have a Customer Solutions focus. The role is centred around Customer Service, product sales and Visual Merchandising.

Key responsibilities:

• Customer sales negotiation based on the BETTA Academy techniques
• Follow up customer orders/technical advice
• Ensure that appliances, furniture, and bedding are displayed in the most effective way for customers
• Monitor stock levels and labelling and initiate ordering if required
• Assist / accompany driver where required with in-home deliveries
• Support and follow up the store OH&S standards and emergency procedures
• Implement sales and promotional programs
• Assist managers to set up advertising for department
• Attend product, sales, and merchandise training
• Ensure security of all stock and the store
• Operate and input information into POS system
• Follow up an incomplete sale reports
• Strive to achieve set sales targets
• Available on a 7-day rotating roster including weekends and Thursday Nights

Skills Required:

• Retail experience, preferable in electrical appliances/furniture
• Record of achieving or excelling of budgets and target
• Face-to-face sales and good communication skills
• Smart presentation
