Circonomy began in 2013 to raise money for a cause. With over 55,000 Charities and NFPs in Australia, the idea began to solve donor fatigue. Our founder Yas Grigaliunas asked herself – “how do I raise money without asking people for money?”. That vision created a movement, establishing the World's Biggest Garage Sale – now known as the visionary brand Circonomy, reshaping organisational and individual attitudes and actions through circular economy solutions. 

Ten years later, Circonomy is now one of Australia’s most innovative, award winning and successful social enterprises, with a passionate team across Australia creating positive impact at scale. We partner with a growing list of Australian businesses and corporates who want to find impact-driven solutions for dormant assets. We renew, repair, repurpose and ultimately, recommerce products that still have plenty of life and are often new (or almost new!), finding new homes and uses in homes and businesses across Australia.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

We're looking for an energetic, highly motivated, and results-driven team member to join our team in the retail store. One of our values is “we love what we do and care a lot” and this resonates with how you live your life. You are customer-obsessed, which will translate into cultivating and nurturing relationships with customers from our circular outlet in Brisbane.

You are a hard-working, innovative self-starter who can drive operational efficiency in our administrative areas and support our office, showroom and sales teams to achieve great customer outcomes.

This position requires a master in multi-tasking. You’ll be working with all outlet team members, with the day-to-day operations of the Circonomy Outlet and online marketplace. Each day you’ll be part of the team planning, getting products onto the floor and ready for sale, delivering on team activities from ticketing to cleaning, working with customers to counting stock. You’ll be making sure the outlet reflects our Circonomy standards, brand promises and sets us up to deliver a “wow” customer experience.

As a champion of circularity, you'll take ownership for sharing our origins and story, creating relationships with our customers through multiple channels, finding circular solutions to meet their needs. Through the sale of recommerced products, rehoming goods to community partners and working within the community – it is all critical to achieving our goals.

You are a naturally curious mind and a decisive problem solver, always seeking ways to do things better. A great environment for you is one where no two days are the same, allowing you to unleash your creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to solve everyday challenges.

You have had experience with a safety & well-being first mindset, that values high performance to achieve a great employee and customer experience.
