Your new company A highly regarded, values-driven organisation is seeking an experienced Risk Advisor to join a growing People & Legal function. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide risk practices and work closely with senior leaders across the business. Your new role
Providing expert risk advice to stakeholders across the organisation, including executive and senior leaders
Developing, reviewing and maintaining risk registers at enterprise, divisional and operational levels
Maintaining and continuously improving the organisation's risk management framework, including tools and templates
Facilitating risk workshops and discussions to support strategic and operational decision-making
Supporting business units to embed risk management into core processes
Conducting second-line assurance activities, including control effectiveness testing
Administering the enterprise risk system, including reporting, user support and data quality
Preparing risk reporting for Executive leadership, Board committees and governance forums
What you'll need to succeed
A relevant bachelor's degree in business, compliance, risk management or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience in enterprise risk management, including framework design and continuous improvement
Strong knowledge of governance, risk and assurance practices, particularly ISO 31000
Proven experience facilitating risk discussions and workshops with senior stakeholders
Experience preparing and presenting risk information to boards and committees
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Certified Practising Risk Manager (CPRM) or similar professional certification (desirable)
Experience within the utility sector highly regarded
