Position: Risk and Financial Dealer
Hours: Full-time (38 hours/week)
Base Salary: $70,000.00/annum\

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manage client margins and financial derivative portfolio risk by monitoring and acting on financial market movements, changes, and analysis reports.
• Manage overall financial portfolio positions and liquidity regarding FX, Commodity, Futures, and Equity exposures.
• Interpret financial information from financial reports, securities company reports, and relevant financial journals.
• Research and record financial market updates via Bloomberg terminal and Reuters, including corporate actions, rate changes, and relevant price movements.
• Create systematic financial models to identify sources of financial security risk and analyze multiple factors to assign positions their respective probabilities of creating a financial burden.
• Source financial security shorts at favorable lending rates from lenders and prime brokers.
• Execute buy and sell orders in the financial market on behalf of clients for securities such as Futures, stocks, and Exchange-traded funds, and relay that information to clients.
• Quote clients financial security prices, stock issue details, transaction costs, and lending rates.
• Analyze financial securities and gather market information to support the analysis.
• Research and provide insight and intelligent analysis regarding financial markets and products.
• Inform clients about financial market behavior in relation to news and research.
• Utilize the NASDAQ trade alert monitoring system to analyze the financial market impact of flagged trades and suspicious trading behaviors, staying up-to-date with local Australian government and ASIC rules and regulations.
• Hedge major financial portfolio positions via discretionary trades and update derivative spreads based on released and expected economic and financial news.
• Enforce and update financial risk management guidelines.
• Act on behalf of clients as a financial market participant with prime broking banks to secure IPO allocations and bids on financial securities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs, and providing appropriate general investment advice and solutions.
  
  Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in Forex, CFDs, and Equities markets
• Experience in online trading services
