Risk & Compliance Advisor - Digital Marketing

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our team with a primary focus on supporting and executing business risk controls within our Customer, Digital Marketing & Product teams. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify and manage risks, controls, actions, and incidents, ensuring regulatory compliance obligations are met and customer experience is optimised.

What you’ll do

Risk Governance:

• Organise regular risk governance meetings, preparing risk reporting, minutes, and actions
• Liaise between the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Internal Audit teams with your business stakeholders

Risk Management:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new products and initiatives, implementing controls and risk acceptance
• Maintain the Risk Register for the Marketing teams and review incidents impacting your team
• Ensure timely completion of risk, regulatory, and internal audit actions
• Report, track, and update all material incidents and actions in Tabcorp’s enterprise risk management system

Compliance Management:

• Assist the team in understanding Tabcorp’s compliance obligations and changes in the regulatory environment and help to develop appropriate controls to ensure ongoing compliance and monitoring activities.

Education & Training:

• Provide a central point for education on risk processes and Tabcorp’s enterprise risk management system

What you’ll bring

A background in risk within a fast-paced Digital Marketing & Product environment. You’ll have demonstrated experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, consulting, or process improvement within a highly regulated and complex corporate environment. Through this experience you’ll have developed:

• Good experience in risk management, within a marketing environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance obligations and risk management frameworks.
• Proficiency in using risk management tools and systems.
