Road Maintenance Heavy Rigid HR Truck (Drainage Operator)

• Hourly Pay: $34.00 + Super
• Location: Dandenong
• Hours Per Week: 38 (Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:30pm)
• Employment Type: Casual (open to extension)

About the Role:

Are you passionate about maintaining our local roads and infrastructure? Join our team as a Road Maintenance Operator. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring our community's roads and drains are safe and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance activities on the Council's Civil Infrastructure, focusing on Roads and Drains.
• Ensure all work complies with safe work practices and Council's policies and procedures.
• Operate specialised plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Undertake labouring duties as required.
• Maintain records and provide information as needed.
• Promote a positive image of the Council through high standards of personal presentation and service delivery.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to other team members.
• Undertake Emergency Management duties as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and adapt to organizational changes.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve team and corporate objectives.

Skills Required:

• Current Victorian HR Drivers Licence and relevant plant competency certificate.
• Proficient in operating Roads & Drains plant and equipment safely.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work diligently and enthusiastically.
• Possession of Traffic Control and Traffic Management Certificates.
