Job Description - Roofing Sales Representative

The Opportunity

:

Join the Dulux Acratex team as our Roofing Sales Representative in the Gold Coast area and leverage your sales and relationship-building skills. This is a sales-focused role, where your key responsibilities will be servicing, maintaining, and growing the business, consisting of both commercial and residential roofing specialists and contractors.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our DuluxTrade Centres and Sales teams and you'll have the ownership and support that you need to succeed, both from your manager and colleagues. As a sales expert, you will be able to articulate how your authentic, consultative style and ability to close sales has led to your success so far. In particular, you will have strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing key accounts
  • Support your customer base for best outcomes
  • New business development, tailoring Dulux’s value propositions
  • Acquire skills that you can leverage to be a subject matter expert on our product range
  • Leverage relationships and market intelligence via networking and participating in industry engagements
  • Skills & Experience

  • Previous B2B sales experience within the trades industry (preferred)
  • Roofing industry knowledge is highly regarded
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to harness established customer relationships
  • Previous experience in scouting and generating new business opportunities
  • Great energy and enthusiasm with a genuine, down-to-earth attitude
  • Strong sales acumen and demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets
  • Strong IT skills and effective call cycle management
