You'll get planning time above what the regulations require, giving you more space to develop a curriculum that reflects your approach and the needs of the children. With abundant resources, you wont be held back by a lack of materials.

On top of that, youll have a generous salary of up to $40 per hour (pending experience) and a clear career progressions eg, to Assistant Centre Manager, Educational Leader etc

What you will do

• Take ownership of the learning space, guiding your team to deliver quality experiences every day.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula, ensuring it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
• Mentor and coach educators, developing their skills and knowledge.
• Build solid relationships with teams, children and families, proactively communicating with families on childrens learning goals and development.

What you will need

• Holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (minimum) as approved by ACECQA
• Has at least one year of experience leading a room or 3 years as an Educator with natural leadership abilities
• Passion for impacting childrens development and mentoring fellow educators
• The usual documentation Blue Card, First Aid etc
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with colleagues, families and the community
• A solid understanding of contemporary child-safe practices and early learning frameworks.
