Due to rapid and ongoing expansion we are seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Engineer(s) for our River Logistics Operation.

Engineer onboard our River Logistics vessel

Smit Lamnalco Towage is seeking expressions of interest from a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Engineer to join our growing fleet onboard our River Logistics Vessel on a full time basis.

Where appropriate, training will be provided as part of your job. 

To be considered for this opportunity applicants will hold:

• Minimum AMSA Class 1, Class 2 or Class 3 Certificate of Competency. In the case of a Class 3, the holder most also possess a relevant trade qualification (fitter & turner, electrical fitter, diesel fitter) or other equivalent engineering trade.
• A valid AMSA Medical
• A valid Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)

Successful applicants will be required to satisfy a company pre-employment medical, client inductions and drug & alcohol screening.

This position is FIFO in/out of Cairns or Local/Resident to Weipa for an immediate start.
