The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and customer focused person to build strong relationships and provide a high standard of sales support to our Corporate and Government customers. This is a great opportunity for an organised, efficient person with a proven sales track record, who wants to join a high performing team, and work with quality products.

About the role

Working directly with our Managing Director, Product Development Manager and Supply Support Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong, long term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Responding to requests for quotation and information in a timely manner
  • Processing customer orders and ensure jobs are tasked to production in a timely fashion. 
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve company KPIs.
  • Utilising ERP system to produce quotations, process orders, and invoices.
  • Answering telephone enquiries and meeting with customers, to identify customer requirements and demonstrate product features.
  • Meeting monthly sales requirements for your allocated portfolio
  • Growing client accounts, customer retention and cross selling of products and services
  • Providing excellent service to clients through end-to-end responsibility.
  • Proactively following up on quotes to maximise sales pipelines and opportunities.
  • Ensuring CRM system is kept up to date with lead and sales pipeline opportunities.
  • Proactively resolve issues and escalate issues as required.
  • Monitor sales order DIFOT dates to ensure that customer due dates will be met for orders.
  • Proactively value-add into every opportunity to drive profitable sales to the organisation.

The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values and have:

  • Experience in sales/customer service preferably in apparel related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to quickly assess customer needs.
  • Knowledge of apparel and/or safety equipment would be advantageous.
  • Strong customer centric philosophy.
  • Self-motivation and be ability to plan activities by priority and deliver on deadlines.
  • Ability to work as a team player or autonomously when required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years Sales or Customer Service experience.
  • Current Drivers’ Licence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office and using Apps, CRM and ERP software.
  • Australian citizen (required for our work with ADF).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to quickly access customer needs.
  • Self-motivated, able to plan, prioritize and deliver to deadlines.

Hours: 

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, however part time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
