Position: Sales and Executive Assistant
Type: Full-Time
Location: Australian Reptile Park, Somersby, NSW
Role Overview:
As the Sales and Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team in the strategy, analytics and results of the retail areas of the Park, and also focussed on assisting the Director with senior administration and human resources task management. You will be responsible for managing and reporting on retail results, assisting with executive tasks, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Management:
Review and negotiate all supplier contracts and agreements.
Implement new systems and technologies to increase sales targets.
Manage purchasing budgets for all retail areas.
Work closely with the Reception and Retail Manager to implement sales targets, product choice and pricing to increase net profit across all sales areas.
Work closely with the Marketing team to showcase the Reptile Park stars within all retail areas, and strategically focus sales to peak holiday promotions.
Focus on visual merchandising and new sales opportunities within the park.
Retail and Office Administration:
Manage supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services, and rebate management and review.
Oversee employee rostering, incident reporting, and general office duties.
Assist the Director in the management Human resource documentation to ensure team files remain up to date at all times.
Assist the Director in WHS management in the review of section and team training manuals to ensure manuals remain up to date at all times.
Assist in the Management of team training calendars to ensure training is documented and occurs as per the calendar.
Assist the Director in the management of MSDS sheets at the Reptile Park
Assist the Director in the Management of team job lists to ensure they remain current.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience (3+ years) in Sales, Administration or Executive Assistant Role or similar.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
