Position Overview:

As a Sales and Marketing Specialist specializing in concrete sleepers, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base and increasing sales revenue through strategic marketing initiatives and effective sales techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of sales principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to leverage accounting software such as MYOB and Xero to manage transactions and client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue from concrete sleeper sales.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, landscapers, builders, and other potential customers to generate leads and secure sales.

- Provide expert product knowledge and advice to customers to help them select the right concrete sleepers for their projects.

- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotes, and proposals to clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our products.

- Utilize MYOB and Xero to manage customer accounts, process orders, track sales transactions, and generate invoices.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and online content to attract customers and drive sales.

- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to adjust sales and marketing strategies accordingly.

- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or Tafe Cerficiate in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

- Proven track record of success in sales, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or landscaping industry.

- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.

- Experience using accounting software such as MYOB and Xero to manage financial transactions and client accounts.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.

- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to meet with clients as needed.

Pay: $46,290.61 – $60,000.00 per year
