Sales Assistant

About the role

Dunsteel Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Sales Assistant to join our team based in Moss Vale, NSW. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing customer service and administrative support to our sales team, ensuring the smooth operation of our sales processes.

What you'll be doing

• Handling incoming sales enquiries and responding promptly to customer needs
• Assisting the sales team with the preparation of quotes, proposals and other sales documentation
• Maintaining detailed records of all sales activities and transactions
• Providing administrative support, including data entry, filing and general office duties
• Coordinating the scheduling of sales appointments and follow-ups
• Liaising with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of customer orders
• Identifying opportunities to improve sales processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a sales support or customer service role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Proficiency in using various software applications, such as Microsoft Office suite and CRM System
• A proactive and customer-focused approach, with a desire to contribute to the success of the sales team
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment
