GARPEN is a growing national importer/wholesaler/retailer of industrial & commercial products including water transfer pumps, pressure washers, generators, compressors. We supply to a range of industries including mining, agriculture, construction.
Our Head office is based in Perth WA, we are now opening a full-service branch in Park Ridge Qld, we are seeking potentially 2-3 multi-talented sales/customer service staff to drive the business and provide top of class customer service sales/support. This role is office based and not suitable for WFH applicants.
Expectations:
- Highly organised reliable and proficient in interacting with a varied customer base. Ability to accurately and provide useful product information and effectively conclude sales enquiries.
- Technical knowledge of small engines, compressors, generators would be preferred however a willingness to learn through own initiative and seeking knowledge through questions would be well regarded.
- Provide up to date information on specifications, pricing, availability for customer enquiries.
- Assist in stock management by accurately processing sales orders, carrying out cyclic stock counts and biannual stock takes.
- Handling of credit card & cash transactions to process customer receipts against sales orders
- Be proficient in the use of computers, with a high level of data entry using Outlook, Word, Excel, Unleashed IMS, Xero
- Confidence in use of a forklift, an operator's license is preferred
- Current QLD driver's license is also essential
