Job Description - Sales Associate



 


The Company


Go Doors is part of the Record / Assa Abloy Group, and is one of the largest integrated Automatic Door, Roller Door and Gate Companies in Western Australia. We supply and install the world's leading brands of Automatic Doors, Gates and Revolving Doors throughout the commercial market segment. We hold numerous private and government service contracts, and have a strong track record of delivering major project packages to Tier 1 builders and customers alike. 


 


The Position


We are offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator to join our forward-thinking team, and support the three existing sales associate in delivering exceptional customer service. 


 


Role and Responsibilities: 



  • Estimating / quoting automatic door packages to fabricators, builders and end users

  • Monitor tendering portals and generating leads 

  • Following up and managing sale leads and quotes requests

  • Conduct site visits with Technicians, Consultants or Customers as necessary

  • Liaise with subcontractors, tradespeople and suppliers

  • Undertake site measurements and assess site conditions as required

  • Specifying architectural hardware into commercial projects

  • Presenting technical information to architects, builders, fabricators, glaziers and customers

  • Commercial customers only, we don't undertake residential work


 


Skills and Experience: 



  • Excellent work ethic, “Can-Do" attitude and willingness to learn

  • Maintain high levels of customer service with a strong focus on sales and building long-term relationships with customers

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications with a mechanical and electrical aptitude 

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 

  • Strong computer skills in the Windows Office Suite (Word, excel etc)

  • Experience using estimating software packages 

  • Prior experience in automatic doors and architectural hardware will be highly regarded, however applicants with demonstrated sales or estimation experience from a technical industry would be suitable e.g. electrical, medical, glazing, fabrication, mechanical

  • Previously held titles may include, but not be limited to, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Architectural Hardware Specification, Estimator
