Operating a 3,000 sqm warehouse, a world-class showroom, a Brisbane business, and a support team of over 80 friendly and enthusiastic Castledexians, we are poised for growth.

As our team continues to expand, we’re looking for a passionate Sales & Business Development professional to join us. If you have a few years of industry experience and are eager to step up, acquire new skills, and showcase your talent, this role is perfect for you.

In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of our client interactions, taking design briefs and collaborating closely to meet specifications and project outcomes. You will engage in diverse projects across corporate, government, hospitality, and education sectors, ensuring our product offerings are both diversified and precisely met. As an ambassador for Castledex, you’ll build strong customer relationships, add significant value to our clients’ businesses, and achieve both sales and non-sales related KPIs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Client Engagement: Be the face of Castledex for all client requests and issues, developing opportunities presented by existing clients.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships by reviewing client performance and developing growth strategies. Implement regular catch-ups, networking, and events to build lasting connections.
  • Sales Strategy: Identify gaps for potential clients to consider Castledex, develop sales strategies to close these gaps, and convert potential clients into new ones.
  • Networking: Initiate and attend networking events to facilitate business growth, promoting and presenting our range to new and existing clients.
  • Internal Coordination: Hand over sales in an organized manner, coordinate with the marketing department/showroom for events and marketing activities, and ensure jobs are profitable using our pricing guide.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in the Perth building & construction industry with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Skills: Strong face-to-face relationship-building and superb presentation skills. Self-motivated with a strong approach to selling and relationship building.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial furniture or associated interior products. Established relationships with architects and designers are preferred.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to drive growth and innovation.
