About the Role

We require a professional and outgoing personality with exceptional retail and sales skills to join our team as a Sales Consultant

You will have a passion for sales, retail, customer service and the industry. You will be providing exceptional customer service to new and existing customers in our shopfront, by email, by phone and online.

You will also be someone with excellent time management skills who can confidently multi-task and respond to all enquiries quickly and efficiently. You will also be liaising with internal staff and suppliers to find solutions for customer sales and enquiries.

Consequently, it is imperative that you are an engaging and reliable person who can successfully communicate with customers and suppliers in a friendly but professional manner.

You will have the proven ability to work reliably and independently. An ability to work co-operatively with colleagues is also crucial to ensure the continuation of an efficient and harmonious team environment.

The successful applicant will be accountable to the Managers and will work in a respectful, inclusive, driven and positive team environment.

You will be working Monday to Friday (no weekends) and the role is being offered as an ongoing full-time role.

Product and software training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

 

Roles and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Retail & Online Sales execution: Proving exceptional service by responding in a timely and professional manner to customer sales enquiries face to face, online, live chat, email, and by phone
  • Manage builders and retail selections.
  • Accurately describe product features and benefits to customers
  • Manage point-of-sale processes
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Conduct cold calls
  • Effectively recover sales
  • Other Retail Administrative Duties

 

Attractive salary packages + Commission after passed probation

 

Selection Criteria:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience working in a Sales, Retail or Customer Service environment
  • Proven experience working both individually and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for the industry
  • Proven track record in achieving targets in retail or sales and customer satisfaction
  • Advanced administration skills
  • Fluent and articulate in English

 

To be eligible for employment in this role you must be one of the following:

  • an Australian Citizen, or
  • a permanent resident of Australia, or
  • a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or
  • a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia for more than 2 years
