Scoop Digital is a digital media company based in Subiaco, Perth Western Australia and manages two media networks: Scoop and localista (localista.com.au).

Since 1997, Scoop has been one of the leading media networks for arts, events, lifestyle and travel in WA. Localista is a native content syndication network and currently the largest lifestyle and travel network in Australia and NZ, with 50,000 users updating 800,000 pages of content and 3,000 blogs.

Our vision is to expand localista into a global network connecting native content from local communities with a rapidly expanding network of websites and apps that already have the traffic.

About the role

Working in partnership with a NASDAQ-listed marketing company, we have developed a series of unique marketing and SEO products with a high retention rate and proven track record of success in Australia and the highly competitive US market.

We are expanding our sales & marketing team and are looking for professional sales consultants with a high-level of understanding and genuine passion for digital marketing. This is a unique opportunity to get in at the ground floor and work with cutting-edge native content syndication networking and digital marketing / SEO technology in a rapidly expanding market. Intensive in-house product and industry training is provided. Responsibilities include:

• Cold calling: while leads are generated through our existing network of clients and 50,000-free listing-owners, this position may also include high-volume cold calling and emailing both to direct and agency clients.
• Presenting: presenting to clients on the phone, video calls and face-to face with clients including local and national direct, advertising and marketing agencies and media buyers.
• Campaign creation: you will be given training and the opportunity to advise clients on their SEO and digital marketing and help setup their campaigns.
• Client support: you will be required to support and maintain relationships with a growing network of your own clients.

We are looking for Sales Consultants who are genuinely interested in adding value and with the skills to help clients achieve their marketing objectives. Skills required include:

• Smart, motivated and able to learn quickly.
• Experience in sales and marketing of digital media products.
• A strong understanding of digital marketing and SEO
• Exceptional B2B written and verbal communication skills on phone and face to face
• Highly organised and strong time management skills
