Sales Coordinator

Join a well-established and expanding national Australian Manufacturing Company who design, manufacture, and supply a range of quality products in the building and plumbing sector. The company provide:  innovative products to their customers – Merchants, Builders, Developers, A & D - exceptional customer service, and currently seek a Sales Coordinator to join their proactive team. The position is based North of Brisbane.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team including promoting sales activities in the Region – proactively building relationships with customers to ensure customer retention and acquisition.  Further, you will be the critical link between sales, warehousing and dispatch thus the importance of you being able to work across both areas simultaneously.  Duties include: phone sales / relationship management with customers, sales administration, inputting and processing of orders, checking and completing appropriate documentation, recording sales information (ie CRM), Showroom support and consultation, working with dispatch / warehouse / distribution in relation to stock holdings, back orders etc. This is a busy “hands on” role where you will be involved and committed to ensuring that the business operates smoothly in the sales, administration and operations area, and continues to provide a high level of customer service to our customer base.

You will have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role and: possess great communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, have great attention to detail, strong problem solving and decision-making skills, be IT literate (Excel, CRM), are planned, organised and know how to prioritise and juggle tasks. Further, if you are resilient, love a great challenge, want to “take ownership” and support the internal sales, showroom sales, and coordination function between warehousing and sales – this is the role for you!!
