Ausroad Plant Services (“APS”) provides specialised hire equipment to the Road Maintenance and Mining industries. We are recognised as a leading supplier in both industries.

We are seeking a permanent employee to generate leads and progress sale opportunities within these industries. 

Role Description

Ausroad has a hire fleet of 80+ vehicles split evenly between the Road Maintenance and Mining Drill and Blast sectors. The role will require the successful applicant to generate leads within these industries and develop those leads into sales. 

You will be marketing Road Maintenance equipment including Jetmaster Units, HD Units, Crack Sealers and Powder Spreaders to the Road Maintenance industry including Councils, State Roads Authorities and Road Civil Contractors, as well as marketing APS mining equipment including Stemming Trucks, Water Trucks, Shot Utes and other custom mining vehicles to the Mining majors, Blast companies and mining contractors.

The role will involve the completion and submission of tenders and pre-qualifications.

Leads will be generated off:

• Existing CRM database.
• Cold Calling and emailing 
• Conferences & networking
• Industry Opportunities

Key qualifications & attributes

• Experience in a previous sales role with quantifiable results.
• Experience in Customer Relationships Management databases.
• Experience in Road Maintenance or the Drill in Blast Sectors.
• Self-motivated and able to slot into a small hard-working team.
• Be proactive and passionate in providing exceptional customer service
• Demonstrate a clear and effective telephone manner; fluent in English
• Be confident and demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Team player with a positive and enthusiastic "can do" attitude
• Possess a strong desire to develop and expand skills
• Computer software experience and literacy in MS Word, Excel and Outlook 
• You must be a permanent resident or Australian citizen to apply
