Sales Representative - SDR -Melbourne (Hybrid) Selling Australia’s definitive B2B database that helps businesses drive smarter decisions and outperformby knowing more about their leads, customers, and candidates than ever before. We’re a start-up with stronginvestor backing and are busy building out a team of smart, innovative, and collaborative individuals whothrive in working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.Reporting to the Sales and Ops Manager (based in Melbourne), this role focuses on acquiring new customersprimarily through outbound channels, with a strong emphasis on calling. conversion flow to drive inside sales results. Responsible for engaging with prospects,and generating interest in the form of Discovery calls and new sign ups.
As A BDR, You Will
- Qualify leads from marketing activities as sales opportunities.
- Continually prospect for new customer through cold calling, emailing, networking and other lead generation efforts as assigned; nurture those prospects as assigned.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our client's product and keep abreast of upcoming product updates and releases.
- Conduct high-level conversations with business leaders in prospects' accounts by articulating our client's value proposition.
- Actively maintain a sales pipeline with documented activity in accordance with sales processes and methodologies.
- Work with the marketing team to develop touch points for prospects including email messages and phone scripts.
- Develop and nurture a pipeline of new business opportunities to deliver to the Account Executive team to further accelerate our growth.
- Setup QDCs (qualified discovery calls) with qualified prospects and Account Executives.
- Effectively uses CRM and other sales tools to efficiently manage accounts through every step of the sales cycle.
- Utilise your active listening skills to understand and uncover prospect’s needs and business problems to effectively communicate our client's value.
