Our client is a high-profile manufacturer and supplier of quality European built machinery into food manufacturers, processors and packers throughout Australia and New Zealand.
We are currently looking for a dynamic Sales / Business development Engineer to sell automation machinery solutions into key market sectors such as Food and Dairy producers, Fresh Fruit & Veg, Dairy, Meat, Poultry, and Fish packers, or even ready meals etc.
Your territory will encompass greater Perth WA as well as South Australia, so the roll will see you visiting clients both locally and intra-state on regular occasions.
Ideally the person we are seeking will be able to display most or all of the following skills and attributes:
- You are a highly motivated Sales professional who sees your next career move is into serious Sales management / BDM
- You have at least 5 years experience selling into the target markets.
- You are well organised and able to manage a number of concurrent projects from inception through to installation and commissioning.
- You are calm under pressure, lead by example and can work closely with the inhouse service team to ensure clients are always supplied the highest level of service and support.
- You are professional in your approach to management but can also roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty when the need calls.
- You have a passion and flair for capital equipment sales, can identify opportunities, and build on value-based propositions centered around efficiency, cost of ownership and ROI.
