Sales Opportunity with a Leading International Freight Forwarder

Are you ready to elevate your career with a top-tier international freight forwarder boasting an impressive global client portfolio? Were seeking a driven and ambitious professional to drive business and expand our service offering within the Geelong Territory.

The ideal individual for this role will come from a Forwarding background in either customer service or operations and be keen to establish a career in Business Development. You will be provided with training, mentoring to develop your skills in this area, all you need to bring is drive and a can do attitude.

The successful candidate will

• Have the ability to secure new business within their assigned territory
• Identify new prospective customers and develop solutions and strategies to close each opportunity
• Develop pricing, service, and product strategies to deliver innovative solutions to customers
• Maintain and report pipeline and closed activity
• Ability to utilise the strength of the internal network to effectively prospect and qualify leads
• Work closely and successfully with the internal teams to ensure effective customer onboarding and customer service.

Essential Skills Required for this role are

• Experience in freight forwarding with a strong drive to establish a career in sales
• Actively seeks opportunities to develop and expand own individual skills
• Understands and communicates clearly both internally and externally
• Ability to engage and build strong client relationships
• Uphold company culture and high standards
• Must have full Australian working rights
• Full Australian driving license
