Job Description - Sales Manager

About the Role

Due to growth, Crown Equipment is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team in achieving significant growth in the materials handling market. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, , and driving performance through effective leadership.

You will report directly to the Branch Manager and play a pivotal role in enhancing our market presence while ensuring that the sales team meets and exceeds targets.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Manage and lead a high-performing sales team to drive success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Conduct regular personal development reviews with sales staff, providing coaching and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop effective promotional strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a sales management role, preferably in the materials handling or industrial equipment sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel as required.
