Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Manager to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales staff across Western Australia and Victoria. Established in the mid-nineties, this WA success story specialises in providing custom-designed shelter solutions for the mining and industrial sectors. With continual growth over the last twenty years, this organisation now supplies to over 45 countries and continues to expand.

The successful candidate must understand project-based sales and enjoy applying a solutions-based approach, with the ability to completely customise each project. With a key focus on maintaining company culture, this organisation believes in team-based incentives and has a history of consistently exceeding sales targets.

Reporting directly to the Global Sales Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead, coach, and manage the sales team across three locations.
• Interstate travel to ensure processes and company culture are aligned throughout Australia.
• Participate in strategic planning and present cases to the Executive team.
• Take ownership of ensuring GP margins are maintained on each project.
• Maintain key relationships with tier-one clients.
• Take ownership of professionally developing the team and driving sales.
• Monitor and report on KPIs to measure the activity of the sales team.

Key Requirements:

• Previous Sales Management experience and a growth-focused mindset.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
• Previous experience in business development and negotiation with large capital equipment sales.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo, innovate, and embrace continuous improvement.
• Strong track record in building and maintaining successful business relationships.
• Positive leadership style with excellent team management skills.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyse and report on commercial performance.
