Sales Manager - Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to run the department for our exceptional hospitality venue. We have a 'captured market' in a central location in Canberra and the environment is relaxed but very professional.

The venue serves high quality food, wine and fun in a spectacular setting, which includes a high quality restaurant and function centre catering for corporate events, social events, trade days, functions and weddings.

We are looking for someone who wants to create or continue a career in the industry rather that just a job. You need to be passionate about food and hospitality, creative and open to new ideas.

The Role

The successful candidate will be required to;

Run sales for the entire business, with aggressive but achievable budgets;

Work closely with the operations team;

Thrive in an environment of teamwork and idea sharing;

Manage external vendors;

Work closely with the marketing team.

Great personal presentation;

Enthusiasm for the hospitality and events industry;

An ability to work well under pressure;

Excellent communication skills;

Exceptional leadership skills.
