Sales Manager - Retirement Living

About your new role: 

Are you passionate about building relationships and driving sales? BaptistCare is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager for the Sydney region. In this crucial role, you will conduct appointments, convert new customers, nurture existing customers, and lead a small team to meet sales targets. You will be on the road, present at villages throughout the week, and play a key role in organising and driving customer events. This position focuses on the strategic growth of Retirement Living at BaptistCare in a rapidly growing industry. Duties:

• Manage sales inquiries and provide high-quality sales counseling.
• Promote and showcase available accommodation and amenities.
• Collaborate with Community Services & Housing to maximise sales opportunities.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Ensure prospective residents understand the financial and tenure aspects of retirement living.
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional plans.
• Maintain client information confidentiality and accuracy.

Skills and Experience:

Essential 

• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in sales and achieving sales targets.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with databases and report generation.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and conflict resolution skills.
• Previous experience managing a small team with growth potential and excellent conflict resolution skills
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable motor vehicle. 

Desirable

• Previous experience in Retirement Living, property services, community/aged care.
• Sales experience in property or similar fields.
• Knowledge of the Retirement Living Act and Regulations.
