The role:

• Lead the sales team to deliver a successful team culture through the development and management of training, coaching and mentorship, identifying performance gaps and developing appropriate performance management strategies
• Develop and manage sales efficiency strategies including key performance indicators for pipeline management, lead management practices, self-generation techniques, conversion rates and booked charge volume outcomes
• Align strategies with sales colleagues and share best-in-class practices, to ensure consistency and quality across the Small Business Services Sales (SBS)
• Effectively lead projects and initiatives demonstrating partner engagement, cross line of business collaboration, and change management to completion
• Support the Director of Small Business Acquisition in leading key transformational initiatives across the broader Small Business Acquisition team
  
  

The ideal candidate:

• Outstanding leadership experience with a proven ability to drive teams to deliver and exceed sales targets
• Previous experience in establishing team and individual capability through effective coaching and mentoring in a phone sale environment
• A proven track record of managing a high performing sales team
• A track record of leading change and building an impactful team culture
• Experience in developing and implementing critical initiatives
• Experience in Acquisition and B2B corporate sales
