Job Description - Sales represenative

We are looking to hire an office based Sales representative who is energetic, vibrant and self-motivated.

We are looking for hungry, driven personalities who are prepared to go the extra mile to achieve and exceed sales targets. Successful candidates will help form and execute sales strategies in order to generate new business and relationships within the retail pharmacy industry.

Perfumery is recognized as a key supplier of fragrances within the Australian market. Our channels of distribution include Pharmacies, Specialty Perfume Outlets and Salons. 

We have a strong client base that is continually growing. We are seeking a full-time Sales Account Manager to join our National team based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

To be successful in this role, you must love selling and hitting targets, want to be a part of a talented team of individuals who build and maintain strong trusted relationships with pharmacies across Australia, develop new business opportunities and so much more.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Generate a healthy sales pipeline with new and existing pharmacies within your portfolio.
  • Manage existing relationships and provide support to accounts.
  • Actively pursue new accounts/re-establish contact with dormant accounts to grow the wholesale business.
  • Actively generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and other office-based communication methods.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in our CRM system.
  • Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor information.

 

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • 2+ years’ experience in sales, ideally working within the pharmacy or fragrance industries.
  • A proven sales record and motivation to exceed sales budgets.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills including establishing credibility and building effective internal and external working relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a proactive and self-motivated attitude .
  • A proven ability to plan, develop, and execute sales strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (NetSuite/SAP).
  • A passionate and collaborative attitude to working within a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
