Job Description - Sales Representative

Join a national leader in the hire, sale, and modification of shipping containers providing portable container solutions to suit diverse requirements across the Government, Mining and Resources, transport, storage, infrastructure and construction sectors.

With over 40 locations across Australia & New Zealand, they are the largest container provider in Australasia. Continued growth has led to the need for a further sales professional to join the Perth Team.

About the role

There is an immediate requirement for an enthusiastic and well-rounded sales professional to join the dynamic, inclusive and collaborative team. The responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively exploring new market avenues and engage in face-to-face interactions with customers.
  • Efficiently managing and tracking projects using a state-of-the-art CRM system.
  • Collaborating closely with our Sales Support Officer to ensure accurate and timely data input.
  • Developing strong relationships with the existing client base through regular communication, on-site visits, quoting, and follow-ups.
  • Drive new business by exploring the potential for new customers.
  • Providing quotations for a range of products and services, adhering to the company's pricing strategies.

About You

  • A minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in a proactive sales position with a strong B2B focus, ideally in the mining, construction, building or infrastructure sectors.
  • Comfortable undertaking both account management and new Business Development, with strong influencing and negotiation capability.
  • Valid Drivers license.
