Permanent, Full-Time | Head Office in Melbourne's East$110,000 + Super + Car Allowance + Bonuses Technical Lighting (Specification) Sales

YOUR ROLE
Specification is at the heart of this role in its entirety. Gaining and staying on the specification throughout the whole process, against competitive pressures, will be instrumental to your success. Furthermore, having exceptional ability to be consultative during prospecting, whilst selling [to consultant engineers, architects and designers] on WHY they should work with you, your product and your service is imperative.

Reporting to the Victorian State Manager, you will be responsible for achieving KPIs, establishing & developing relationships with Engineering consultants, Architects and Designers and increasing the number of successful specifications. You will inherit an existing portfolio of clients with the task of growth and development, with the additional expectation of generating new business. 

WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR | TO BE SUCCESSFUL
This is a highly technical role requiring a technical (Lighting) Sales professional who has a deep understanding of Lighting design, Lighting layout and engineering.

It is advantageous and highly desirable if you have dealt with engineers, designers and/or architects, who specialize in Lighting, on a daily basis as you’ll engage in technical conversations of this nature. This will be observed and assessed throughout the hiring process.

Due to working with a complex product range, exercising patience as you learn about each range will be paramount given the breadth of projects varying across the commercial and industrial sectors.
