Our client is a family-owned and operated Australian business located in South-Eastern Melbourne, dedicated to delivering top-notch packaging solutions for over 20 years. Specialising in Thermoform Packaging and Contract Packing, their experienced team serves various industries, including beauty, personal care, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and FMCG.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales and Business Development professional to join their team. This role focuses on driving profitable sales growth and developing lasting relationships within the plastic packaging industry, with an emphasis on thermoform and blow moulding. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding our client's market presence. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping our client's strategic direction and achieving annual targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable sales growth to achieve annual targets.
  • Identify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage key customer relationships and expand existing accounts.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our products and services.
  • Stay updated on market dynamics and competitive landscape.
  • Provide regular reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning updates.

Attributes and Skills Required

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong industry knowledge in plastic packaging or related fields.
  • Understanding of thermoform and or blow moulding is highly regarded.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Customer service and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with technical aptitude.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to travel as required and hold a valid driver's license.
