We are hiring a versatile Sales/Customer service support to join our knowledgeable team at International Hair Cosmetics Group Pty Ltd in Alexandra Hills, Brisbane QLD.

  • 5 days per week
  • Mon-Friday: 8:30 am -4:30 pm

Role 

Primary role of the Sales/Customer service co-ordinator is to:

  • receive orders from customers (mainly by email) and input into our inventory management system;
  • Speak to customers on order status, help with their enquiries, check that products are en-route (if needed);
  • Support sales manager to facilitate orders, deals, promotions etc.
  • Complete some sales too ( so a sales background is important too);
  • Work across the company with relevant teams where needed - for example, a sales promotion will be organised understanding the product, support educational material, purchasing/delivery times, marketing etc
  • You are an ambassador of the company - speaking to customers in a helpful, professional, knowledgeable way increases our brand reputation.
  • Have a can do, growth mindset - we are a growing company with a bright future - so our needs will change over time as we grow. We must have a mindset to adapt to our future too and not be too fixed/siloed in our thinking.

We are seeking a candidate with experience as a Sales/Customer service co-ordinator with a growth mindset and desire to learn and improve. Skills that we are looking for 

  • Can do, friendly, optimistic personality
  • Attention to detail. Ensuring that orders are taken and dispatched right the first time builds a brand, saves time and is more pleasant. You will be able to demonstrate this skill in previous roles.
  • Sales ability: Whilst the core role will be to support a strong salesperson - it's important to like sales too, be happy to inform customers of deals etc. if you need to etc. A friendly, upbeat persona is important in this kind of role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Ability to analyse data and create reports.
  • Team player and ability to work independently. This is such a cliche - but it is so true. We are building a team to take on the world - recognising that we all have strengths, that are amplified, and weaknesses, that are smoothed out, across an entire team is a way for us to excel.  You will enjoy team work, but also work well alone. 
  • Organizational Skills: Organised, logical, hit deadlines, manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: Out of the box thinking, desire to always solve problems vs being stuck/focused on any issue/hiccup. 
  • Effective Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Office politics: we want a happy, efficient team and positive, can-do attitude. We do not want office politics. If you work somewhere successful but the politics creates such a negative undertow it bothers you.
