About the client:
Our client, a leading Australian University, is looking for a Salesforce Data Test Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. The Data Test Analyst will collaborate closely with the Data Architect, data analysts, the project test lead and other stakeholders to develop and execute testing plans/scenarios, identify and document data anomalies, and validate data integrity.
Roles & responsibilities:
Required Experience/Skills: - Proven experience as a Data Test Analyst or similar role in data quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of SQL (Structured Query Language) and/or Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
- Experience with data validation techniques and tools, such as SQL queries, scripting languages and ETL testing frameworks.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans /test cases to validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Collaborate with Data Architect and Data Analysts to understand data pipelines, transformations, and business rules.
- Perform various types of testing as required including functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing on data pipelines and analytics applications.
- Work closely with the project Test Lead and Test Analysts to ensure testing best practices are followed and to optimize test coverage.
- Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools for data validation.
