About the role  

The role of Salesforce Developer reports into the Platforms Manager and is to ensure that HammondCare gets the best value from its investment in SFDC solutions. 

This is a permanent full-time role based at our head office in St Leonards with some working from home flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop in Salesforce using standard automation tools and custom development tools based on specific requirements to extend Salesforce to support business requirements, working within a collaborative agile team,
• As needed, complete and submit solution design documentation aligned with Salesforce best practice,
• Maintaining existing Apex, LWC, Flows, etc.; setting new standards as required going forward,
• Custom User Interface development, including Lightning pages, Aura Components** and Lightning Web Components
• Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs or Mulesoft Composer to integrate with other systems used in the organization
• Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development.
• Engage with all Agile Ceremonies within a release cycle to implement and deploy updates to existing applications and code, utilizing Jira, Service Now, devops and test automation tools as available.
• Peer review development work completed by internal team and delivery partners,

About You  

• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II
• 3-4 years minimum working as a Salesforce Developer
• Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
• Experience develop solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Javascript and SF declarative automation tools.
• Ability to write, update and interpret technical specification and design documentation and test scripts.
• High level communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well to problem solve within a team.
• A willingness to learn and continue grow your skills in this role and as a Salesforce Professional
• Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action

Desirable

• Certification or Experience in Field Service, Omnistudio or Health Cloud.
• Experience in the Aged Care, Health Sector or Non-profit organisation.
• Competency in HTML, XML, Flex, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, REST and SOAP-based web services,
• Familiarity with developing on other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services,
• Contribution to open-source projects, or personal projects in a good state of development.
