Salesforce DevOps Engineer.The Opportunity:
Our Government client is looking for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer to bring onboard into their collaborative DevOps team.
This is a contract role starting as an initial 1-year contract with the possibility of further extension.
They are offering an open rate per day based on your previous and current experience.
This is a hybrid role based in the Melbourne CBD with only 1-2 days in the office.
As this role is within a Federal Government client, applicants are required to have either a PR or be an Australian Citizen.The Role:
The Salesforce DevOps Engineer will work within a small team to streamline the software development lifecycle to improve developer productivity, delivery speed, and code quality (no development included). This role will work closely with development, operations, testing and security teams to identify and resolve pain points and inefficiencies in delivery workflows and environment issues.
Key responsibilities include automating delivery processes and maintaining the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, along with maintaining the Salesforce environments (Production and non-production).
The Salesforce DevOps Engineer will be required to participate in workshops, working groups and meetings as required to support teams with troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes and supporting or leading the resolution of issues as appropriate. A cornerstone of this role is to propel development teams towards a peak of DevOps maturity, assuring a profound comprehension and application of modern DevOps principles and processes. This extends beyond the team to embedding these principles and processes to the wider development teams. In this way, the DevOps Engineer will support the broader organisational context, ensuring a cohesive and streamlined DevOps practice throughout the enterprise.About you:
