Job Description - Salesperson

We're seeking a skilled Salesperson for our premium doors manufacturing company to be an integral part of our team and expand our customer base. 

 

The Position

We are presenting an excellent opportunity for an experienced salesperson/ estimator to join our team. Your role would involve providing valuable support to our existing team, promoting our doors, and building relationships with new and existing clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Estimating, Quoting and entering orders. 
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with both existing and potential customers.
  • Helping our business grow by achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing outstanding service.
  • Keeping an eye on industry trends, market changes, and competitors, and sharing your insights with our directors on a weekly basis.
  • Stay vigilant in monitoring tendering portals to identify promising leads.
  • Effectively manage and follow up on sales leads and requested quotes.
  • Deliver clear and comprehensive technical presentations to architects, builders, and customers.

 

About You:

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous sales experience, preferably in the doors, but at a minimum in the construction, or building industry.
  • Knows their way around the industry.
  • Holds a valid driver’s license. 
  • Has Australian Working rights.

 

Your Skills:

  • You're a great communicator, both in speaking and writing.
  • Negotiation and people skills are your strong suits.
  • You're comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Appreciates deadlines and demonstrates good time management.
  • You're self-motivated and excited to take on challenges.
  • Positive and eager attitude, open to learning.
  • Prioritises excellent customer service, emphasizing sales and fostering lasting customer connections.
  • Pay close attention to details.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, and preferably familiarity with MYOB.

We use only the best materials, combined with the latest manufacturing techniques, to produce doors that are both long-lasting and easy to maintain.

Work hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Friday: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm

Total of 38 working hours per week.
