Saw Operator

What you will be responsible for:

• Set up, operate, and monitor bandsaw machines for precise cutting of materials
• Read and interpret work orders, cutting lists, and measurement specifications
• Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE
• Keep work area organised and free from hazards
• Packaging and labelling of steel orders in preparation for collection and delivery
• Some light computer skills will be required

• Experience with bandsaws + overhead cranes (The successful applicant will be extensively trained)
• Day and afternoon shifts available
• Current driver’s license and own transport
• Sound understanding of health and safety
