Energex have multiple permanent opportunities for SCADA Systems Technicians to be located at Victoria Park (Brisbane) . About your new role: As the successful candidate your duties and responsibilities will include the following: -

  • Performs testing, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of South-East SCADA systems in both a workshop test lab and LV/HV field environments.

About your new role: As the successful candidate your duties and responsibilities will include the following: -

  • Performs testing, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of South-East SCADA systems in both a workshop test lab and LV/HV field environments.
Remuneration for your new role will be between $96K – $128K plus 12.75% superannuation and applicable allowances, working a 9-day fortnight non continuous shift. The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the successful applicant’s knowledge, skills and competencies that are required in this position. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Energy Queensland Union Collective Agreement 2020. Why choose to work for us? About You Essential Selection Criteria include: -
  • Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
  • Hold a current Queensland C class open drivers’ licence.
Desirable Selection Criteria include: -
  • IT skills including Computer Operating Systems and industrial networks.
  • Demonstrated SCADA knowledge.
  • Advanced Diploma (or equivalent area of practice) in Electrical Engineering (Electronics/Communications/Information Technology) or with the ability to obtain.
  • Previous experience in water, railways, or electrical distribution sectors highly regarded.
