WOW First Home Builders are seeking a Scheduler with a minimum 1-2 years experience within the residential building industry to join our company.

• Working hand in hand with our drafting crew, contracts people, accounts and prestart departments discussing scheduling requirements for our projects and facilitating the smooth progression of the scheduling works.
• Completing scheduling works to facilitate the progress of the project.
• Place orders with relevant suppliers for each material and item needed for construction.
• Finalising Supervisor files for newly commencing projects.
• Liaise with supervisors & suppliers to ensure schedules are being followed and deadlines are either met or exceeded.
• In cooperation with the Site Supervisor, coordinate relevant deliveries to site and assist supervisors with administration queries
• Effectively identify and resolve problems throughout construction.
• Quotes and cost charges.
• Final siteworks costings.
• Provide support to the construction and maintenance team as required and the General Manager Operations.
Skills and Experience
You could be just the right candidate if you possess the following attributes.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in a scheduler role, or similar with mainly simple “single story” homes.
• A good level of administration and computer literacy skills, knowledge of MS Excel and its functions, will be highly regarded
• Sound knowledge of the construction industry and the ability to read and interpret plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Accurate mathematical and analytical skills with a high attention to detail
• Well-developed organisational skills.
• Sound experience with take-offs is a must.
• Good Customer services skills
• Work well to successfully meet deadlines
• Able to work within a team environment, a self-starter
• Experience in Click Home is desirable but not essential
