The Opportunity

We are seeking full-time professionals to join our specialist Secondary Schools Counselling Team whose purpose is ‘Making Lives Better’.

As school counsellor, you will be working with young people experiencing learning, emotional and behavioural challenges at school. Services are delivered using individual, groupwork and video-health service models. 

You will have the opportunity to work with team colleagues at each school, with professional development, clinical supervision and leadership support provided by Thrive Psychology.

Skills & Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• AASW or ACA membership or AHPRA registration 
• Desire to work with young people in a school/college setting
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Sound clinical reasoning skills
• Working with Children and Police Checks
