Job Description - Security Officer with Regular Rostered Hours

We are currently seeking highly qualified and experienced individuals for a security guard position in Townsville. The successful candidates will work regular roster hours each fortnight with the opportunity for additional shifts. This is a high-level position that involves security camera monitoring in the control room, visitor management, asset protection, and guest safety. The role also requires the flexibility to work in other areas such as static, gate house, events, and other assignments on days off from the regular roster.

Casual position with regular roster hours each fortnight, and additional shifts may be available. Training will be provided to ensure the successful candidates have the required skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Monitor security cameras in the control room

Manage visitor entry and ensure adherence to security protocols

Protect assets and maintain a secure environment

Ensure guest safety and respond to security-related incidents

Work independently with a professional approach

Be available for additional shifts and varied work assignments

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Possess a valid QLD Security License with monitoring qualifications

Hold a current First Aid/CPR certification

Have a professional and customer-oriented approach

Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks

Possess reliable transportation for commuting to the workplace

56-78 hours per fortnight

Work 7-8 days out of a 14-day roster cycle

10% superannuation paid on top of wages

Training provided for required skills and responsibilities
