Senior Account Manager-Energy and Infrastructure - Continuous Learning Opportunities

We are on the look-out for a Senior Account Manager to join our Energy and Infrastructure Division. In this role you will develop and promote Protective and Marine products with existing & new customers to ensure the achievement of Budget sales and gross profit targets.

As the Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

• End to end sales management for existing and targeted new customer accounts to ensure strong customer satisfaction, strengthen relationships and achieve sales growth.
• Areas of focus, Energy segment (Oil & Gas / Renewables), Infra (High Rise Buildings / Civil /Stadia), Performance OEM (Mining & Ports) and Premium Light Industrial (Distributors).
• Increase sales of protective coatings (Energy and Infra segments).
• Develop and expand contacts amongst Owners, Specifiers and Engineering Consultants to have Hempel approved and specified on major projects and corporate paint specifications.
• Grow new and existing customers to full potential and increase Hempel's market share.
• Prompt sales planning, pipeline management and forecasting to achieve sales efficiency and excellence.

In order to be considered for this role you will have:

• The ability to work in a fast and ever-changing team environment.
• A passion for customer service and sales
• A minimum of 3 year's Sales management experience (Paint and Coatings desirable)
• A track record in generating revenue and business development desirable
• Strong financial understanding of gross profit margins
• The ability to work within a dynamic and physical retail environment
• An eye for detail with the ability to solve problems and lead change
• Clear verbal and written skills
• Competent in IT Systems, MS-office - excel, word, power point etc.
