We're recruiting for a Senior Accountant to step into a trusted role within a close-knit team, working directly with Partners and established SME clients. The firm is in a growth phase, meaning your ideas, leadership, and client relationships genuinely matter.

The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you'll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio across business services and taxation, with exposure to advisory work and the opportunity to mentor junior staff.

This role suits someone who enjoys:

• End-to-end client management
• Hands-on involvement in tax planning and advisory
• Being part of a boutique firm where performance is recognised and progression is visible

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns
• Tax compliance for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
• BAS, IAS, FBT, and CGT
• Leading client meetings and acting as a key point of contact
• Assisting Partners with tax planning and advisory engagements
• Reviewing work and mentoring Intermediate and Junior Accountants
• Contributing to process improvement within a growing boutique practice

About You

• 4+ years' experience in Australian public practice accounting
• Currently operating at Senior Accountant level (or ready to step up)
• CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion)
• Strong technical grounding in Australian tax and business services
• Confident communicator who values long-term client relationships
• Looking for stability, influence, and progression within a boutique firm
