The Opportunity
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting Kelly+Partners' continued growth while building your own career. You'll take ownership of your work, contribute to the success of the broader team, and work closely with Partners who are invested in your development. With a strong focus on learning and progression, you'll have access to the training, resources and support needed to continue growing.
Position Responsibilities
Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
Help provide exceptional service to our clients
About You
4+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
Expertise in practice management platforms like MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, and QuickBooks - or a strong aptitude for learning new systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
