The Opportunity

You'll step into a trusted Senior Accountant role within a well-established Business Services team, managing your own client portfolio and acting as a key advisor to SME clients across SE QLD.

While the role is fully WFH, the firm is intentionally Brisbane-based - meaning you'll still have:

• Local clients
• Occasional in-person collaboration (team days, training, client meetings if required)
• Clear career visibility and progression pathways

This is not an offshore or disconnected remote role - it's local, flexible, and long-term.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients across multiple industries
• Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, BAS & IAS
• Deliver proactive tax planning and advisory support
• Liaise directly with clients and build long-term trusted relationships
• Mentor junior accountants and review work where required
• Identify value-add opportunities and process improvements

About You

• CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
• 4-7+ years' experience in Australian public practice
• Strong experience in Business Services / Tax
• Confident communicator who enjoys client interaction
• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
• Must be based in South East Queensland (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or surrounds)
