About our team
The Risk and Compliance team manages and provides expert advice on the development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of risk management and compliance plans, frameworks, and programs. Key functions include developing and implementing the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, the Compliance Management Framework, and leading the School Accreditation Compliance Review program.
The Senior Advisor Risk and Compliance plays a key role in strengthening BCE’s risk and compliance culture through practical advice, effective frameworks and continuous improvement. This role works across Brisbane Catholic Education Office and BCE schools to support the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of risk and compliance management systems, policies, processes and controls. You will provide specialised advice on compliance, risk identification, assessment, mitigation and reporting while partnering with leaders to build capability and support informed decision-making. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful organisational outcomes by helping teams understand risk and compliance, improve governance practices and align risk and compliance management activity with BCE’s strategic and operational priorities.
